Our Seminars

AWAG hosts one-day seminars in each regional area, open to the entire community. A four-day Annual Leadership & Professional Development Seminar is held each spring to provide training and networking for members of all our regional areas.

Our Beginning

Founded in 1946, AWAG has spread throughout Germany and across Europe, growing and changing as our community changes. Hundreds of participants have gathered annually to share ideas and develop skills to enhance their communities.

Our Board

The AWAG Board of Governors is comprised of dedicated professional volunteers motivated by the organization's mission. They represent American military communities within the European footprint enabling AWAG to keep abreast of relevant issues that require training and support.

Our Funding

AWAG is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit which funds its programs through the generosity of corporate contributors, individuals and organizations.

In the past, AWAG has benefited from the proceeds of our now out of print Never a Dull Moment travel guide.
