We are always looking for dynamic speakers to cover a range of topics to support our leaders and develop their skills.

We’re especially looking for speakers who have a strong understanding of the military-connected community and a heart for service. If you can deliver meaningful content that trains, strengthens, and connects we’d love for you to apply.

We strongly encourage speakers to first contribute at their Fall Area Seminar. These regional events are an essential part of our leadership development pipeline and help us identify speakers who are a great fit for our Annual program.

About the 2026 Annual Seminar

Our next Annual Seminar will be held April 26 – 30, 2026, at Edelweiss Lodge & Resort in Garmisch, Germany. We begin confirming our Annual speaker lineup in January 2025, following the conclusion of Fall Area events. All applicants will receive a response by February 20, 2026.

What We're Looking For

AWAG provides attendees with a variety of formats, from breakout sessions and workshops to panels and Q&As.
When applying, please select the format that best fits your content and delivery style:

Breakout Session: 40-50 min focused training or talk
Workshop: 90+ min deep-dive, hands-on session
Panel or Co-Facilitation: You have a team or topic and are ready to lead a group discussion

How it Works

We begin confirming the 2025 program in January 2025, following the conclusion of our Fall Area Seminars.
All applicants will be notified of their status by February 23, 2025.
Preference is given to those who have previously contributed at the Area level.

Volunteer Terms

Speaking at the Annual Seminar is a volunteer opportunity and does not include a speaker’s fee.
However, selected speakers will receive:

Complimentary conference registration
Room and board on the day(s) they speak
Access to our international leadership network

Speakers are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
