All About AWAG

Americans Working Around the Globe (AWAG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that trains, strengthens and connects leaders in military communities around the globe.

We achieve this by providing leadership and professional development seminars to Americans who are living and working overseas.

Our Area Seminars and Annual Leadership and Professional Development Seminar provide a forum where spouses, service members, civilians, and retirees can train, network and generate new ideas for personal and professional growth. Founded in 1946, AWAG has spread throughout Germany and across Europe, growing and changing as our community changes. Hundreds of participants have gathered annually to share ideas and develop skills to enhance their communities.

We're dedicated to building leaders, strengthen communities, and connect people around the globe.

Our Seminars

AWAG hosts one-day seminars in each regional area, open to the entire community. A four-day Annual Leadership & Professional Development Seminar is held each spring to provide training and networking for members of all our regional areas.
